My dog of 13 years was feeling unwell and had to be referred to a specialist in Galway. Gort vets were looking after my medication for her then since December after a gloomy diagnosis. She was doing well on her meds until one day two weeks ago when I just knew she won't make it till morning. I emailed Ballyhugh Vets that I will not be collecting her medication this Thursday as Pixie died and I am not sure what to do. Not only did I receive a swift response but the staff could not be more helpful. They advised that I can bring her whenever I'm ready and were more than caring and supportive. I have to say it was completely unexpected to be looked after in such a supportive and warm way by the staff. The lovely lady that often had Pixies meds ready for me, came out of the practice to make sure I could handle her and took my dog off in a most respectful way. She told me to look after myself and even sent an email after I left crying. Today I received a card from the practice. Unbelievable how caring this practice is. I really appreciate the support they showed as losing a friend of 13 years is not easy. Amazing staff. Thank you

The best practice we’ve ever used, and we’ve been through a lot of them in various countries. Lauren has such a lovely way about her and always makes us feel like our fur babies are well taken care of. Eadaoin and Teresa are THE loveliest and friendliest staff. Thank you so much Ballyhugh for always making a visit to you worthwhile and pleasant!
