Moran’s Oyster Cottage is a lovely spot that feels both authentic and unpretentious. The location right by the water gives it a calm, timeless atmosphere, and the setting adds a lot to the overall experience. It’s the kind of place where you can settle in and enjoy a relaxed meal without any rush. The oysters are clearly the highlight—fresh, well-prepared, and exactly what you’d hope for from a place with their reputation. The rest of the seafood is equally solid, with simple dishes that let the quality of the ingredients speak for themselves.

Best place for seafood in Galway. A must visit if you are in Galway. Grilled oysters are way over 5⭐ and same is their staff.

A bit noisy but food is a m a z i n g! Especially fresh AND baked oysters! Very quick service, but better to book a table in advance ... (Which I think is possible). Really nice view if sitting outside. A bit of space for a walk too. Satisfaction 110 out of 100. Don't be surprised if you got told that table is free until X.. as they serve the food really fast.
